Sierra at Tahoe
Sierra at Tahoe is located near Echo Summit, with easy access from Tahoe or Sacramento via Highway 50. The resort is spread over 2,000 acres with elevations ranging from 6,640 feet at the bottom to 8,852 feet at the top of the highest run.
Sierra at Tahoe operates the adjacent Blizzard Mountain tubing and sliding hill. For more information on Blizzard Mountain, see Echo Summit Snow Play. The resort also offers kids' Adventure Zones, snowshoeing, a telemark center, and mountain tours.
Sierra at Tahoe has gates leading to Huckleberry Canyon, extremely challenging backcountry terrain of cliffs, chutes, cornices, and bowls for EXPERTS only.

Terrain: 2,000 acres of ski-able mountain with 2,212 feet of vertical drop. 46 trails (25% beginner, 50% intermediate, and 25% advanced). 5 Terrain Parks and several pipes.

Rental equipment includes skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, and poles. Sierra at Tahoe also rents clothing and performance equipment.

Children's Lessons
Children Ski Lessons - ages 3-6 Children are grouped by ability and age. The full day programs include 2+ hour outdoor lessons in the snow and the remainder of the day at Daycare with indoor activities. Lunch is provided. 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Cubbie Program Lesson (Age 3-4) - beginners
- Pioneer Program Lessons (Ages 5-6) - beginners and intermediate Advanced
- Explorer Program Lessons (Ages 7-10) - beginner to intermediate Advanced

Adult Lessons - Ages 13 and Older
Sierra at Tahoe's Easy Street has two beginner conveyor lifts and gentle terrain designed for learning the basics of snowboarding and skiing.
Learn to Ski or Ride Lessons Designed for first time (or early beginning) skiers or snowboarders.
2.5-hour lessons begin at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM.
Adult Learn to Ski + Snowboard Lessons
2-Hour First-timer Lesson Package - learn to ski or snowboard. Package includes lift ticket limited to conveyor lifts on Easy Street and Easy Rider Express, rental equipment, and 2.5 hours group lesson.
Adult (age 13+) All Mountain Group Lessons
For intermediate and advanced skiers or boarders. 2-hour lessons offered at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM.
